Dr. Nusrat is a physician-scientist trained as an immunologist and cell biologist by Zanvil Cohn and Ralph Steinman (Nobel Prize 2011) at the Rockefeller University. With leadership roles at AstraZeneca, Sanofi and Bristol Myers-Squibb, Dr. Nusrat is associated with seven successful clinical  development programs that received marketing authorization in Europe, USA, Korea, Japan and Taiwan.

Dr. Nusrat graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, received his training in internal medicine at the University of California San Francisco, infectious disease Cornell University and pulmonary/critical care at Harvard University where he was on faculty at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Nusrat maintains patient care contact at Rutger’s University as professor of clinical medicine.   His publications are in prestigious journals such as Chest, Journal of Clinical Investigation, Journal of Experimental Medicine and the New England Journal of Medicine. Dr. Nusrat is passionate about working to improve clinical research methods that will help patient care.
